Project details
4PS is a leading international construction SaaS company which provides construction management software and digital tools to contractors. Their products save customers time and money across all stages of the design, build and management of a construction project.
They are a Hilti group company and I was referred directly to the marketing lead at 4PS, Joanna Foster, by the team at Hilti GB who have been working with me since 2023. Being referred by an existing client is a huge vote of confidence and was a major factor in 4PS choosing my services.

Technical construction writing in a complex part of the sector
Construction SaaS is an emerging market which necessarily requires a lot of technical knowledge. It’s not just knowing how construction works, it’s understanding how a digital solution can fit into that. It’s knowing where the benefits can be found and how to communicate that authentically to potential customers who are experts in the field.
4PS Construct is a great product with many benefits, so Joanna and her team wanted to create a series of white papers and accompanying blogs that showed off the advantages of their system. That involved getting into the fine details one many topics including:
· Sustainable construction: The role of emerging technologies
· Support matters: The hidden cost of poor ERP support in construction

Joanna said:

The white papers were also then expanded out into a series of accompanying blogs which took certain elements of each paper further to get into more detail.
Overall, the white papers have been a success. The number of downloads have multiplied compared to previous ones, and 4PS has received event invites and good quality leads as a consequence.
Working fast and accurately for a company which needed quick results
The technical knowledge I brought with me to the 4PS work also provided value for the client in another area – I could get going immediately with no onboarding or training. White papers are research-heavy and time-consuming, but the deadlines were not long, so being able to offer an instant start was another positive for Joanna.
As head of marketing for an international company, she has a lot on her plate. Likewise, the technical teams who reviewed the work are also extremely busy as vital parts of a growing company. No one involved had time for missed deadlines or work that needed heavy editing.
