Project details
SWW Marketing is a creative design and marketing agency that supports construction and manufacturing businesses with their marketing. They aim to work in partnership with their clients, rather than as a traditional agency.
The company’s co-founder, Oliver Smith, contacted me in early 2024 looking for content support across a range of businesses that SWW is partnered with. There was plenty to go at and the team was at capacity.

Unlocking time and capacity for the SWW team
Being a specialist agency is an advantage in many ways, especially in technical fields like construction and manufacturing. Most companies can’t get what they need from all round agencies, so you typically have a competitive advantage when pitching. The downside is that there are comparatively fewer writers and marketers with knowledge of the industry, so finding experienced people can be hard.
My knowledge and experience in the sector was therefore attractive to SWW as they grew. There was too much work for their existing team, but not enough to justify hiring another full-time member of staff, so it made sense to look for freelance help.
Providing what an agency needs: Fast, accurate, informed work
I soon started delivering press releases, blogs, social media posts and case studies, working with Jordan Rachael, Senior Account Manager, across a range of clients.
